我国で 1980 年頃につくられた 24 シリンダ W 型 2-ストローク，ユニフロー掃気，舶用ディーゼル機関であり，ルーツブロア機械式過給機とターボ過給機とが併用されている．ただし，これは VW の W 型エンジンのように V をさらに V 型にしたものではなく， V 型バンクの中央垂直にもうひとつシリンダを追加したものであって，4×6=24 ではなく，3×8=24 である．
